With a lifetime affinity for design, Amy feels that interior design is not just her chosen profession, but an important way of life. Many of her earliest memories involve being aware of and moved by the aesthetic of spaces and feels strongly that she does not have a distinction between design and the other aspects of living. Amy’s authentic, positive personality is a strong hallmark of her career and helps her to connect with others. This gives her the ability to communicate and truly understand what is needed in each project before making any suggestions. the creation of space is about people and must involve all those who will be affected by it.
Amy has a determined approach to every design project with an appreciation for every facet of design whether it is brainstorming on a new project, adding details to a finish, or anything in between. She works hard to be creative, original and detail-oriented. Amy finds most inspiration from the world around her and enjoys studying other works of art and design. Her talent in space planning and computer design along with her insatiable desire to find great products and finishes help her to be the kind of interior designer that people seek after.
Amy’s biggest joy is her family. Spending time with her husband and four children whether attending events or just hanging out is always a goal, but can be a challenge as her children get older and have their own busy schedules. She enjoys connecting with her siblings and parents who are also very close. Amy is in her element when working around her home inside and out in her garden always trying to improve her surroundings.
